On 11th December 2011, the Choir was invited to perform at the Raintree Club of Kuala Lumpur’s Charity Christmas Bazaar.
It was another hot and sweltering Malaysian afternoon but we sang 2 sets of Christmas songs, including traditional favourites (in Kristang and English) as well as contemporary Christmas songs. We also really meant it when we sang “Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!”
After the gig, Tenor KM Lai and wife Soprano Shareen treated some members to afternoon tea (with fresh-from-the-orchard mangosteens and durians!)
It was a great afternoon had by all, not just performing but the fellowship after that.
